On March 25-26, 2023 IATA Service Level-II training (Switch and Valve Operations) was conducted for the PFSG technical staff at the Tbilisi International Airport. The course was conducted by certified Czech trainers (Mr. Dub Vojtech and Mr. Hasman Frantisek) in Aircraft fuel Servicing & Fuel Safety.
The purpose of the training. For old EE’s of the company the goal of the refresher training was to ensure that skills learned during the initial training were not lost and to provide an opportunity to learn about changes-in/updates to the safety approach they being re-trained in, and for new EE’s studying the subject and raising awareness.
Detailed description of the training. Training on into-plane procedures was covering general HSSE requirements and valves operation on the most common aircraft types. This is allowing the technical personnel to deliver into-plane level-2 service on the most common aircraft types (A32F, B737, ATR, Embraer E170-195) unless specific procedures are provided and trained by the operating airline.
At the end of the theoretical and practical training course, the instructors conducted an assessment and the relevant certificates were issued to the PFSG technical personnel.
