Cathodic protection is a technological part of the system PFSG uses to ensure safety and integrity of its
pipeline/hydrant system. Metal rods called anodes are connected and placed in close to the pipeline.
Anodes become more susceptible to corrosion, bearing the burden of the corrosion in order to protect
the buried pipe. The system is isolated from above-ground pipeline facilities. It does not affect adjacent
buildings, fences or other infostructure and is not hazardous to people or animals.
In October of this year, our company renewed and additionally placed cathodic protection systems at
various locations with the support of foreign experts.
