Driver-Technician Batumi

Position: Jet Fuel Bowser Driver-Technician (Category B, C, E)

Location: Batumi, Alexandre Kartveli International Airport

Work schedule: Working hours during the probation period: 10:00 -18:00 (Monday-Friday). After the probationary period, possibility to work in shifts – every third day.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operate jet fuel bowser in full compliance with traffic and safety regulations. Delivery of jet fuel to helicopters & aircrafts safely, on time according to the predetermined plan.

• Shift handover: checking the technical condition of vehicles, controlling the receipt and delivery of jet fuel, keeping the receipt and delivery log (recording the data from the vehicle meter), checking working tanks and product balance.

• Checking the condition of vehicles and technical equipment: meters, manometers, discharge hoses, grounding devices, fire extinguishers. Repair and put in order any damage or non-conformity found, within his possibility.

• Compliance with disciplinary job standards (personal hygiene during working hours, wearing the uniform).

• Maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles (fuel tankers/fuel dispensers) and the jet fuel terminal. Carrying out technical work by regulations and standards and completing relevant checklists.

• Compliance with environmental, labor and fire safety norms and standards, in relation to visitors and colleagues.

• Performance of other functions and duties related to the working position.

Qualification requirements:

• The driver must have a driver’s license of the appropriate category bowser (categories C and E)

• At least 3 (three) years of experience in a similar position

• Secondary or higher education (preferably in a technical field)

• User-level knowledge of office programs
