Number of Passengers at Georgian Airports Increased by 30% in 6 months of 2024. According to the data compiled by the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, in January-June 2024, Georgian airports served 3,220,599 passengers with regular and non-regular flights, which is 30% more than the number of passengers received in the same period of 2023.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Tbilisi International Airport served 2,124,599 passengers. The increase is 36% compared to the same period of 2023. 745,895 passengers were transported through Kutaisi International Airport, which is 12% increase compared to the 6 months of 2023. As for Batumi International Airport, it served 334,437 passengers. The increase is 43% compared to January-June 2023.

During the 6 months of the current year, a total of 14,682 flights were performed at the airports of Georgia. Compared to the first six months of 2023, the increase in flights was 33%. As for the use of Georgian airspace, compared to the first six months of 2023, the rate of use of Georgian airspace increased by 30%. In total, 130,498 flights were recorded.

As for the domestic airports (Ambrolauri and Mestia) it total served 6,059 passengers, that is 2% increase and fulfilled 202 flights.
