Aviation Fuel Operations and HSSE Training in line with the latest JIGRegulations has been completed

For the purpose of professional and technical development, PFSG provided its technical employees the
96-hour Aviation Fuel Operations and HSSE Training in accordance with the latest JIG requirements
under the guidance of an experienced Aviation Fuel Operations Trainer and JIG certified inspector. The
training included the following topics:

  • BASIC SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMS) TRAINING (8 hours)
  • Safety Policies and Objectives
  • Risk Management
  • Safety Assurance
  • Safety Promotion
  • BASIC HSSE TRAINING (4 Hours)
  • HUMAN FACTORS TRAINING (2 Hours)
  • BASIC AIRSIDE SAFETY TRAINING (2 Hours)
  • AVIATION FUEL OPERATIONS TRAINING (72 HOURS)
  • FUEL CERTIFICATES AND DOCUMENTATION
  • FUEL RECEIPT PROCEDURES
  • STORAGE HANDLING PROCEDURES AND FILTRATION/NEW TECHNOLOGIES
  • REFUELLER LOADING PROCEDURES
  • FUEL SAMPLING AND TESTING PROCEDURES
  • REFUELLER & HYDRANT SYSTEM DESIGN AND EQUIPMENT TESTING
  • HYDRANT SYSTEM DESIGN AND TESTING
  • INTO-PLANE OPERATIONS PROCEDURES
  • RECORDS
  • AIRPORT FUEL OPERATIONS EQUIPMENT PRACTICAL TRAINING AND TESTING OF THE EQUIPMENT
    (16 HOURS)

The training took place on November 6-18, 2023 in Tbilisi and was led by JIG Inspector, Aviation Fuel
Operations Trainer, SMS Expert and former IATA Fuel Quality Pool Inspector, Mr. Guner Pekkan.

According to the technical team, the training was interesting and very productive. PFSG always strives to
