2022 has started with a very important and positive results. According to the Civil Aviation Agency, 1,324 domestic and international flights were operated in January and 231,003 visitors were registered, which is an increase of 1,267% compared to January 2021. Also, the number of international travelers that was recorded before the pandemics (January 2019) has recovered by 38%.
In the near future, FLYONE Armenia will also join existing international airlines and will start operating regular flights to Georgia, specifically Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan flights 3 times a week.
Although pandemics remain a major challenge in the field of civil aviation, the agency looks very positively at 2022 and believes that gradually all flights will be resumed and the number of domestic and international passengers will reach record levels.
