In October, Georgian airports served 280,026 passengers and operated 1,602 international and domestic flights. Over the past 10 months (January-October), 2,002,761 passengers were registered, which is 141% more than in the same period in 2020.
With the support of the Government of Georgia, air traffic is being restored, international flights are being renewed and new destinations are being added, as well as the frequency and number of flights are raised step by step. Besides that, from November 10th, the local flight Kutaisi-Mestia started operating, which is very important for stimulating domestic tourism.
